Stockfish
I have a question for GK about Stockfish because Senior Master deeper_insight recommended that I used it. The reason I didn't download was that I was afraid to make changes to my computer. As I was worried about messing up my computer, again. Of course, I would've found a way. But, earlier today, I got a message from this website that reads, "We have upgraded the chess engine used in Play vs Computer and the Post-game Computer Analysis to Stockfish 10, currently the strongest publicly-available chess engine in the world. You can request any of the past game analysis to be redone using the new engine by accessing "Analyze the Board" page for the game in question (from your Past Game History page, for example), and then clicking "Computer Analysis" link at the bottom of the screen." With Joe's suggestion, I am in 100% agreement that Sockfish is the strongest. But, having said that, when a game is done how do I get it. As this is where I start to get confused, as, more often then not, I misunderstand directions. Having said that, is it just past games analysis to get Stockfish? Or, do I go for past game analysis, then look for analyze the board, followed by computer analysis? I just want to make sure I'm following the right steps because in the after math of the Senior Master, ace-of-aces mentioned something about it. And, it was to be slow and tedious step by step before downloading it. But, if it's as easy as I think on GK, then I gather that I can get it right away. So, my question is do I follow various steps after post games analysis to get the stockfish on GK? Or is Stockfish with the post game analysis, automatically?

When a game is finished, you get a notification message in your GameKnot inbox that includes a link to request computer analysis. Alternatively, you can access your past game history, click on the game you'd like to be analyzed (or re-analyzed), and the click "Computer Analysis" link at the bottom of the page that opens.

Max count of analyzed games per month
When we get old games re-analyzed with the new engine, do those count against our max number of analyzed games per month?

We do need to make sure not to overload the servers with a lot of compute analysis calculations, so yes, every request counts. There is nothing wrong with the old analyses in 99% of the cases anyway, it's just the new engine is stronger and will be more thorough in finding inaccuracies/mistakes.

I'd like to thank Gameknot for making these changes. I think it's really going to help, at least, one of my students improve.
