 Accuracy correlation with profile vs update board connection
Not that it is of any major concern,but I cannot understand something here.When ever my opponent is online with GK,their profile states last time online as "Now".And whenever they are accessing my game board the little green light is lit by the "update"illustrating that they are currently accessing the game.I just noticed with one of my opponents that the little green light is on as if they were accessing my game,BUT their profile states that they are not online with the "now"on their profile,but states...last time online 25 minutes ago.So if they are not online because their profile states that they are not online and their is no green light by their handle name...then why is the green light lit by the "update"illustrating that they are accessing my game,when in fact they are not online?Seems inaccurate to me or amiss.

The green light by the "update" on the game page is 100% real-time info. As long as the player has the game page open, the light will stay green. The player profile's "last time online" info, and the green dot by the player's username, on the other hand, is only updated when they are actively accessing pages (i.e. clicking links). Both stats have their advantages and disadvantages because of the way the online status is tracked. When someone has the game page open in their browser, it doesn't mean they are actively looking or even using their computer, but it likely that they are. But if the player is accessing different pages, obviously they are currently online and using their computer. From the information you provided, you can conclude that your opponent loaded the game page 25 minutes ago, and haven't accessed any other pages on GameKnot. But they also haven't closed the game page, or logged out from their account.
