Gameknot please explain
What is going on ,

In the postponement rules , it states if you postpone a game you cannot use this option again for 14 days , so why am I playing a guy who postponed a game on the 5th and again on the 12th of March ?
I understand people have issues , but how can this happen? The guy could of extended his first vacation to 3 weeks and I wouldn't of mentioned this

The emergency postponement has already been used on the 20th of February ,

I had a health issue and could not take vacations every 7 days and timed out !

I'll ask again postponement rules
"If you postpone your games, you will not be able to postpone them again for 14 days after the postponement period is over"
This is a copy from Gk rules , so if a player postponed his games on the 5th of March for 3 days or until the 8th
Then doesn't that mean he cannot use this option again till the 22nd,
(He took the emergency postponement option on the 29th of February so that can't be taken again for 4 months)

So my question is why can this player postpone games on the 12th of March ? ,

If the player has issues well ok , postpone games for 30 days and I'd have no problem , will the game in question ever time out ? , usually I would rather they start to play , but I am getting so fed up with this issue ,
If Gk could explain what I'm missing and or correct me , cool ,
But I seem to see issues occurring on postponement topics more and more

It generally helps to read the entirety of the rules, in order to avoid any confusion. As per the game postponement rules:
"If you postpone your games, you will not be able to postpone them again for 14 days after the postponement period is over. If the postponement is for less than 2 weeks, the "waiting" period will be equal to your postponement time."

Which means if someone postpones their games for 3 days, they won't be able to postpone again for 3 days after the postponement period runs out (not 14 days).

Thank you GK , but it's still not clear the opening line states

"If you postpone your games, you will not be able to postpone them again for 14 days after the postponement period is over."
Period , end of sentence, its black and white !
Then it goes on to say about the "waiting" period , so instead of trying to be smart and clever why not remove the opening line and then there will be no confusion , the opening line is a statement , the extra is were the confusion lies , the confusion lies in the outdated opening paragraph

And I think you'll find a lot of users are capable of reading the rules here at GK , and sometimes "General"
statements may not be the answer , and it "generally" helps to give an explanation , and they "generally " understand them , lol

Thank you for your feedback. We have considered rewriting the game postponement rules as one single sentence without using any punctuation marks, but decided against it as it was not conducive to improving the readability. We are always on a lookout for improving the clarity of anything you read here, but unfortunately eliminating periods, or putting everything in one long sentence would be a step in the wrong direction.

Fantastic a great explanation, nice one , absolutely nothing wrong with the rule , the idea of , but I find it misleading, such a concise sentence it negates the need to read on

I think you've missed the point I was trying to make , but I do appreciate the response , I think its as clear as mud , and I accept your verbal "rapping of my knuckles"

"Readability " there is a nice word , "the quality of being legible " being able to decipher , "adding space between lines can drastically improve readability" ,

mmmm I on the other hand do not feel the need

The beauty of a forum anyway
