 Bad gateway errors |

Not exactly bad gateway errors for me,but twice yesterday got 2 disconnects from two different blitz games.I pressed the reconnect button and it took almost 3 minutes to reconnect on my side in a 5 min/0 game.The trouble with that is that when I finally got reconnected,I lost those 3 minutes and my opponent did not lose any time at all.So,I had now 2 minutes to beat him and he had almost 5 minutes left...when I was ahead of him in time before the disconnect.I,of course disagree with this,since,to me,a disconnect should freeze my side of the board with the time until I reconnect again.Only those who do NOT press that reconnect button should have their clock continue.Lucky I still won,but just with 3 seconds left on my clock.

Not sure,but that gateway error may have coincided with my blitz game(s)disconnects.
I suspect that was the case,because I detected no internet issues on my side.During that 3 min downtime,I went on another site with no connecting issues as I multitasked.All I know is that I have seen more gateway errors as well as blitz disconnects being 10x worse than I have ever seen before since 2005 when I first joined GK.Something is "rotten in Denmark".

But, it's actually very, very similar to what Joe mentioned. But, yes, I got it in a couple of cases. The difference is that when I hit the back button, it seemed to correct itself, this time around. In other words, the bad gate error seemed to go away.
