Choosing one's opponent vs. playing as white
I totally agree! I've played 209 Slow Ladder games since I joined on June 26, 2009 (I was the third person to join the ladder prior to its launching and I'm the only inaugural member still playing). Since I prefer to choose my opponents rather than allow them to choose me, I've played as black at least 190 of those 209 games. Oh well..., I just suck it up and I've gotten to enjoy playing as black, but it'd still be nice to play as white once in a while. Maybe it'd be more fair if the color switched each time one played the same opponent regardless of who challenged whom.
