I don't want to talk about politics. for your complained there is a simple solution, pay a little for maximum play joy. you support the site with it. so maybe consider it.

But the point,,,
is that I don't want to pay for a site with advertisements, and I want to be not disturbed by advertisements, mainly when they cause lag. Advertisement isn't a natural thing, and you think that is a natural thing. Lichess, e.g., is the proof that we may enjoy chess without advertisements for all. This discussion with you closed for me too.

I stay to Lichess of course. Lichess, in my opinion, is the best site of chess, I'm one of the many patrons of Lichess. And I want to stay here too. I like GK very much. I'm not fond of exclusions, just the opposite of it.

I am not sure anymore,but I think that GK gets a kickback by having advertizers pay GK to advertize here.The premium members (like me)never see it,which is a good thing and I am also not sure,but I think that the loading speed is faster for paying members compared to free members.How much,that is the question.But I would rather see all members here be premium members to help support this great site and help create more profit for GK to then add more features(eventually).That takes $$ and the more the better.I have been on GK since 2005,not 2018 as my profile states.I just closed my last account and opened a new one.I am also a GK LIFE member,so I do not pay anymore for a long time now.The investment for life membership was well worth it in the long run.I have been a member of most chess sites including the USCF, Li,Instantchess,Chessworld,Red Hot Pawn and many more.But,I have found out that GK has the best board interface and other features for long games even better than all the others in my opinion.GK does not have the best blitz features compared to other sites,but then,GK was really never designed for serious blitz play.Opinions vary of course,so each to his own.
