I barely have anyone on my ignore list, GK is mostly a great place with many good people. I do, however, have just one rather pathetic troll that mildly irritates me from time to time, but mostly makes me chuckle. This individual enjoyed a sudden dramatic improvement in his chess ability at an extraordinarily late stage of his chess career. I would normally have very easily given him the benefit of the doubt, but he let fly with little childish temper tantrums here and there for some reason that I do not know, so I put him on ignore and he now resorts to occasionally attempting to get around that by letting fly with further tantrums in the clubs and chess puzzles. I just chuckle and swipe it away. As you mention, it’s important to ignore trolls, so I do. In the old days, these things were nipped in the bud. Take care, Joe. |
