Automatic challenge ruleschallenge rules should automatically decline it when there is 500+ points difference? Okay, it isn't much over 500, but definitely over. This is a fixed margin, not one I can adjust, either way. It may be different for premium members. |

Heinzkatinterested to know how it can occur when the rules are as below: Opponent's rating must be less than 500 points below and no more than 500 points above your rating. Please note: these rules can prevent other players from challenging you to a game (unless all of the conditions above are met, of course). tactical_abyss - these rules are supposed to be automatic. Perhaps you can get around them by requesting challenges, as you did? |

Yes,if you request challenges through a sent message, that is one way of getting around the auto rules, since it is up to the higher rated non provisional player to accept and send me a challenge. The thing is that if you look at my first game it says...."challenge from winds of wisdom".(That was my name back then).Well,I don't remember anymore, but I assume that I must have challenged him directly without messaging him...yes,no?And if I challenged him directly, wasen't his rating OVER 1700?Check to see.I assume it was either 1712 or 1731.Perhaps the system DOES allow a slight amount of points over the 500 level ceiling from time to time.If liencam2 was only 1700,then,ok,I stand corrected, but I do not see that looking at his records, mine or the game board. If liencam2 accepted my game request after I messaged him,it would say "challenge from liencam2".So the question remains....was liencam2's rating at 1700 when we began the game or was it higher? It looks to me that it was higher than 1700!? |

Premium paying members should get more options than non paying members, else why pay for something and get nothing more in return? Perhaps its GK's way of saying...pay alitle, add alittle more support and you will get alittle more in return! So the "little" things like user name changing, add banners disappearing, increased database and gameloads, increased loading speed, auto decline settings being different ect ect....all are part of a plan to perhaps "persuade"players that would like these added options to become a premium member. If one cannot afford it,thats understandable, but one must also understand that you cannot always get what you desire like that special piece of candy,if you can't come up with the "moola"as we say in America! I'd like a new Corvette too,but I can't afford it,so i'll have to drive around my old 1987 Corvette in the meantime and be satisfied.Motto? |
