I can't help get the feeling that the chess community who first captures the app scene, offering correspondence chess, as well as live games on the fly and PGN exports will conquer all!
On-line chess communities seem to be slow to embrace all that they can be!
Can someone please develop an app, that provides all the main functionality of Gameknot. I would be willing to pay £5 - £10 for this!

I too have heard of another site doing this thing. But of course, out of loyalty to Gameknot I could not possibly say where, for less than 20 pounds ... }8-D

I hope Gameknot does this
I have been playing on my iphone with another app that does corr chess...but I really miss gameknot. I am just on the road so much I enjoy the convenience of being able to use my iphone wherever I happen to be. My gameknot sub lapsed but I look forward to renewing it. Took a hiatus from corr chess for a while because I was travelling so much and timing out. Now I am getting back into it.

GK isn't the easiest to play on the iPhone ... But it still gets the job done even without an app

If you are saying developing a "Web App" is in the works? That would work for me as most web apps out there work very well with the iphone and other smart phones. Better than nothing!

I play chess on the iPad at my home all the time. I do it through the Safari browser. It works fine.
I can summon the game on my iPhone but it is a bit small.
