When I do this the variations go in the comments; there doesn't seem to be a way to play them on the board. Is there a way to do this? If not I would request this as a feature. The nicest interface would be like Fritz has. You see a game notation with variations and comments and you access any position by either clicking on it or using the arrow keys to navigate over the score.

The best thing you can do is open up a seperate annotation board with the same game on it and play the variations on that

I'm not sure what you mean...

Do you want the annotations with the variations on it so you can scroll through instead of looking at a written variation?
