GameKnot Engine strengthI've been playing a couple of times against the GameKnot chess-Engine and I consider it to be quite strong and the ELOs underrated. I'm currently rated about 1600 but can't beat the engine's 1600 level and compared to human opponents I consider the lower levels to be very strong, too! How do you guys consider the engine strength? How is the relation between your rating and the engines rating you can beat?? |

@easy19 You've got a pretty high rating. How do you consider the engine strength? Can you beat the 2000 or even 2200+ level?? I'm pretty curious |

The 1000 level is tougher than I would expect from a human of the same rating, but having said that I have seen it miss an easy two-move-mate after I offered a knight, a move a human would be suspicious of. The GM level is good, but with a strong opening (using the DB of course) and an analyse board up, with no time limit, I was able to beat it. I doubt I could beat a human of that rating, my record win is against a 2032 rating. I'm glad GK have added this feature, thanks! |
