Why doesn't the Gameknot database include games with less than 10 moves , when the game ends in mate

Gambits and how to play against them are I find a good way to learn , especially opening play ,

They are also good to know

legitimate 1600+ players don't lose by mate in ten. You got examples?

I do , but I'm not sure I'm a legitimate 1600 player as I've only just returned to the club !

Plus not sure of the etiquette of naming players who are good guys but fell for a trap 🤔

Last time I had looked higher ranked players had two move games in the database. As you note--these must have been purged.
