Not chess related...but let us remember today,9/11
Let us remember and honor all those who lost their lives in the terror attack on 9/11 in 2001. The Twin Towers have been rebuilt as a symbol of unity, strength and honored memories and the Pentagon, while not nearly as destroyed has all been rebuilt.I could say much more, but I will not in these forums. On that date,I was in Germany, helping out a close friend of mine build his sound studio music recording center. When I heard the news later that day,we closed down the studio and I flew back to the USA a few days later by private charter jet.I had no relatives or friends at the Twin Towers but know many people from NYC.I can remember going to "Windows on the world"restaurant at the towers many years ago.Let us never forget the tragedy.

9/11
is not something that I'm going to forget. And, it's also because my uncle passed away from lung cancer, several days prior. And, a few days after 9/11 a relative, someone else related, passed away from kidney failure. And, so for me, this was also a sad time.

I also do not want to forget those who died in Pa where the plane did not make it to the Federal building in Washinton D.C. The brave passengers fought back and the plane crashed, but never reached its intended target.I was born and raised in Pa and also know the Somerset county area quite well.
