Favourite Gambit Lines for Black v d4 openings and Why!
What are your favourite gambit Lines v d4, my favourite over the board was for many years the Budapest Gambit, I never had a book as such just a pamphlet given to me however in 1984 my Chess club organised a 30 board simultaneous with the legend Victor Korchnoi it was all big news for our county then and I played the Budapest and Victor accepted the doubled "C" pawn structure at the time I had no knowledge that it was classed as one of whites best Lines and was ground down but struggled on to move 32 I got my Autograph which is still kept with pride.
Anyone else have stories of there favourite Gambit Lines v d4 setups and any interesting stories or recommendations be great👍

The only gambits...
... I can think of to play against 1,d4 are the Albin counter-gambit, the Blumenfeld Counter-gambit and the Benko.

I like the Benko - a positional gambit with fairly clear strategic credentials. I've played it occasionally with reasonable results.
I gather the Blumenfeld is fairly similar, but not as sound. Not that that stopped Alekhine playing it against Dr Tarrasch at Bad Pistyan in 1922.
The other gambit worth considering is Albin Counter-gambit.
I've never played the Blumenfeld or the Albin.
