Vacation Time Not Added?

Recently an opponent of mine set his vacation flag for seven days. Before he set his vacation flag I had slightly less than three days to make my next move. After he set his vacation flag, I still had slightly less than three days to make my next move. This game is a mini-tournament game with a time control of 5d+2d<7d. Should not have I have had seven days to make my next move after he set his vacation flag to seven days?

In mini-tournaments this tends to work differently... I think nobody on GK knows all the exact rules in all possible situations. The bottom line is that you have plenty of time for your next move in any case.
