Maybe the sound plugin
I have the blitz page crashing because the quickplayer plugin doesn't like it for some reason

Use a Real Browser
Use Firefox 4 or Chrome. IE is bulky, slow and after 15 years, still inferior.

Solution!
I went into control panel and removed Quicktime. I was asked to install a media player add-on when I started Chess tactics, but all good now!

Perhaps the Quicktime
would work better with Safari(-for-Windows), both being Apple products; if you did wish to use it. ... ?
