OTB tournament announcements?
Is a general invitation or announcement of a club's rated OTB tournament considered to be a violation of GK rule of conduct #8 if it is posted in a forum? I ask because I don't think I have ever seen an announcement like that, and I don't want to violate the rules. It would be just the facts, perhaps something like this:

The Springfield Chess Club announces its annual Homer tournament set for February 31, 2020. 10 rounds, G/60 at the cafeteria of the town's nuclear plant. T.D. Marge Simpson. Registration starts at midnight. Play begins at 1:00 am followed by round 2 at 3:30 a.m. Each following round to be started as soon as possible. No byes allowed. All ten games must be completed to be eligible for prize money. All games must be completed within 24 hrs. Guaranteed prize money of $0.10 courtesy of Mr. Burns. The Springfield Chess Club pays homage to Mr. Burns for his usual generosity. The champion of the Springfield Grade school, Bart Simpson will be attending. USCF membership is required. All players east of the Mississippi are invited to attend.

Well maybe not quite like that. The tournament will be more traditional.
