While it is not physically possible for us to review every single ad that appears on GameKnot, we do have automated security measures in place that monitor and prevent any ads that can carry any possible hidden "malware". We are not aware of any such ads appearing on our website, as everyone here at GameKnot uses the website daily, and we would be flooded with complaints from other users as well. Please refer to the FAQ #27 for more information as to why "malware" might appear to be coming from GameKnot:

That may be but when i the screen with the adds and open games i keep getting this without clicking the adds " adpassback-sky.shtm which is a shtm file(318 bytes)" or is Gameknot pushing this file waning me to open it?.

The file you are referencing is a legitimate script used by GameKnot. It is definitely not a "malware". It is unclear why your web browser is requesting to download it, instead of using it normally. Your report has been forwarded to our dev team for further investigation. Please rest assured that this is definitely not a "malware", but appears to be a technical glitch.
