pawn promotion malfunction

I pushed a pawn to the last rank with the idea of promoting to a queen but the screen blanked out and that was that. So I made another move instead without any anomalies. Does any one know how to contact GK personnel to get help with something like this? If so, please give me a heads up by sending a message to mcbrickman. Thank you.

Yes, the operating system on my pc is obsolete. Then I made the move using my phone and the move went through without a hitch. Thank you to all the contributors on this forum!!

Resol again is trolling as you can clearly see above.Now,he tries to quote me from a past profile mention of hors d'oeuvres which he could not even spell correctly(as usual)and other factors.Again,this does NOT belong in this forum UNLESS it is accompanied by some REAL input regarding "pawn promotion malfunction".Resol offers NO real input about pawn promotion malfunction and only tries to quote me(badly of course)from some past mention of something in my profile a long time ago.I have made mention about a drink from time to time in a GK forum...BUT I always COMBINE that cheer with SOLID and DEFINED wisdom directly RELATED to the topic theme of a thread....which differs completely from a trolls way of input in these forums which adds NOTHING to the original poster of this thread.Wow...I give up!!

I agree it is trolling and it’s good to get independent agreement from lord_shiva, whom I know is very experienced in forum matters, as well as chess.

It’s a rule that posts should stay on topic and this should apply all the more stringently if one has nothing nice to say.

Re: pawn promotion issues. I don’t play too much at the moment, but I’ve not had an issue with pawn promotion so far. Sometimes the screen freezes, so I just shut the window and try again later. I suppose that might be to do with cloudflare.

Resol has been following me around in these forums since he first opened his account.
He is smart enough to not mention my name,but everyone knows he is pointing the finger at me.
He only mentions a "yacht"above in Antiqua(as a lie)because I had mentioned in my profile about my boat and St Barts and more.What I write in my profile is my business and has nothing to do with his trolling against me in these forums.Take note of that readers!He fakes his Cuban accent and purposely misspells words quite often to throw others off to his real identity as ocean-1....who was also a troll and troublemaker on GK.As to stalking...it is resol,not me that stalks and is completely deluded as he posts this against me in another forum link with MORE trolling.
Readers,carefully inspect this thread and the links resol embedds in it.Resol knows absolutely NOTHING about me yet he persists in this total garbage:

Resol contributes absolutely NOTHING to others in these forums and only writes trash,while
trying to change the subject line of the original poster and has what is called...fake humor.
He can fool others but not me.He uses the same word"stalker"against me,just like ocean-1 used against me which is all a fabrication on their part and are one in the same people.With a link like above,it is VERY CLEAR that Resol is the stalker....not me.

What Resol needs to do is apologize to me personally and others for being a troll in multiple forums on GK and simply do everyone a favor and LEAVE the GK forums permanently!
There is no way I can continue to contribute good chess info to others in these threads,until this troll and troublemaker in these forums and against me(like in that link and other threads)....leaves these forums!!!

Now,so far it is LS,myrydin,huvawa and myself that are ALL in agreement that resol_bojateg
is a problem on GK.It is not me that is "delusional"like he posts about me,nor am I a liar or anything else he rants about like a child.Anyone else is free to join the list against Resol and I highly suggest it.

Take care all.I will possibly return in a year or so just to see if resol has disappeared and/or my account is gone.I had to finally step in and reveal one of a scant few on GK who have given GK a bad name for a long time now by stinking up the place.No one writes as stupid as he does unless its intentional with his appearances against me.You will always notice that he appears 9 out of 10 times ONLY when I enter the forums to help others out.So...there is a definite pattern
to his nonsense and a retarded obvious pattern at that.

Oh and above...mcbrickman answered his own question,so no need to add anything more.
My nephew keeps my PC up to date with the latest everything.He even built me a system with
like 10 cores and speed that is unbelievable.I never use my phone to make moves nor do I write these messages from my phone.I have a nice laptop I take with me when I travel,but I still prefer my big PC that never has issues with any pawn promotion or other glitches.

And as to "pawn promotion",I cannot remember the last time I promoted a pawn in a GK game to anything other piece.On my level,99% of my opponents resign long before any pawn promotion would occur and so would I resign if it looks imminent with no counter capture and the position looks massively grim.Many of my opponents have resigned being only one or two pawns down,let alone any pawn promotion.Thats life with the 2400-2500 players on GK.So are draws on my level.My opponents and myself thrown in the "draw towel"more often than not!Most others would play till the end which is totally ok.But on some higher rating levels as you will see most times in 2500+past game histories,draws are as common as green grass in Kentucky.
