Instant past game searchIt would be a nice option to simply plug in a players name in a past game line and "instantly"get a list of ALL games played against that opponent(if any exist). Now,sometimes,if I remember a precise opening I had against a past opponent,I can plug in moves in the personal database and it sometimes shows up,but not always. In addition, that is a poor way to find a past game against opponents and time consuming, even if I do remember an opening line, which most of the time will not be the case. So,unless I have missed a GK option somewhere,(maybe I have)....I think it would be nice to have an optional time saving indexing search of past opponents, especially when the past game lists add up to hundreds or thousands of games played and I have 10 or more pages to flip through. Any thoughts here? |

For some reason,I missed that link below the players name.Perhaps, since alot of my opponents are only played once, then there is no "past game"link below the players name. I notice that it only shows up(the clickable link)if I DID play against the opponent in the past. Well,I missed that one...thanks again! Now,as a second question,if I go into my personal database and open with a few moves like a slav defense,it sometimes does NOT list a players name even if I copy the game moves, say 4 or 5 deep into the opening, why is this?Shouldn't it list all my past game opponents that I had a slav defense opening with?Seems to me that when I do get a list,it is not always complete. |
