Info board above game list...opinions

Just wondering what you guys think of the newly added info post above your personal game list.I do not know if this will be a permanent thing or if its just there for a short while.
Personally,I do not play,nor am I interested in the "Chess Tactics" challenge,easy/hard game boards.Also,my game lists clearly indicate to me if its "my turn"to move,so I certainly do not need an "additional"indicator above my game lists to tell me "twice" that I have or do not have a move to make.Sorry,but for me that info board that suddenly appears and glares at me above my game list is sort of an eye sore and a nuisance.
I welcome the chess tactics in the options list because thats where it belongs,but nowhere else...in my opinion.And like I said...a double indicator of pending game moves,is not desired by me.
For those who love the new tactics training...well great!But for me,I do not like the click on option that I must stare at above my game list.If there was a way to remove it,I would.

I can see it can be a small nuisance now it's new. But it's kind of harmless in itself and is only shown when there are no games requiring your move.

Well,if it was there for 10 years,I still would not like it or get use to it.As to only being shown when there is no game moves,well,I'll take your word for it,but i'll see if it changes by tomorrow when I do have moves.But whether it only "appears" with or without moves,thats still a click option is an over exemplified spot above a game board list and is a repeater of information as well an option that I feel is unnecessarily too close to the game list.
Placing the tactics option in the list under GameKnot or way on top of the page somwhere AWAY from the personal game list would be much better spot.Plus,like I mentioned there really is no need to tell you that you have no moves,when your list tells you this.
This placement might be ideal for tactic board lovers,but not necessarily for others to have that shining in their face that do NOT play the tactics board.

I would never....

....knock GK, but after 6 years I've become quite accustomed to the way it was. My preference would be for a new 'Tactics' button on the left menu.

Just remember,making constructive suggestions or even constructive criticisms is never "knocking"GK.
If I didn't think GK was the best,I would not have paid for a life membership.

Info board

The info board above the games list would only appear to be a problem for premium subscribers. I
don't have one and the only way I can access chess tactics is through More Options on the
menu to the left.

I prefer tag1153 idea.Or just keep it where it is in options section.
In the meantime it hasen't appeared for me,but if it does...i'll just get some black electrical tape and paste it on my screen over the tactics section that appears.Ha,ha!
