 Suggestion for a minor improvementThe server time (and date) should be displayed as a small clock or something similar at the top of each page, to the right of the bar with the drop-down menus for my games, settings, new game, etc. People from all over the world and many different timezones play here. If for instance you would like to meet someone online at a certain time for a game of blitz, you will most likely specify the server time of the meeting and not the time of your individual time zone. Sometimes when I log back on after I have been offline for some time and I have new messages I would like to know how long ago the message was sent. The message does show the server time when it was sent. But I don't know what server it is now, when I find the message. Of course I can look up the timezone of the server, know my own timezone and can go on to calculate what server time it is now. But this is tiresome and I'm a lazy person, so I don't usually do this. The best solution would be a constantly displayed clock with the server time (and date). Perhaps this is a feature already implemented that I can turn on somehow? Or this topic has already been discussed before. In that case I apologize for bringing it up again. |
