boomers rule
As the baby boomers like me head into their dotage, I am guessing we will see more "senior" events.

And
the winner was: Jens Christiansen of Denmark, with a brilliant performance of 7/9, with no losses and he is now appointed as a new Grandmaster!

Denmark has now won the following World Championship titles:

- World Correspondence Championship 1980 by Jørn Sloth.
- World Junior Championship 1984 by Curt Hansen.
- World Senior Championship 2012 by Jens Christiansen.

Although we had a world class Grandmaster in the late Bent Larsen, (1935 - 2010) he never succeeded in winning the world title. I think our neighbor country Norway, will have a World Champion before us. (Magnus Carlsen)

Best wishes
