Sounds a bit ambigious to me,the way you explain it.
Perhaps you can set up a diagram to show it,especially if it is something "new".
I think I know what you mean,but I am not sure.

And to make it legal for completeness,you must also have 2 Kings on the board.Above,you just have one opposing King with your explanation.
