The ROOKIE by Stephen Moss (Best Book Ever)
I have been playing Chess for 53 years, now aged 67, i have a massive book collection chess books on all the great ex world champions past and present .... However i would out of choice advice anyone who loves this game to buy a copy of Stephen Moss's book The ROOKIE, there are a few on sale through ebay, amazon etc., Its a great book, the best read anyone who loves chess will enjoy and can relate to a Normal Guy - Stephen Moss is that, he tells his story of an ordinary chess player who played for his local chess player and dreamed of one day becoming a decent player, he takes you on his journey across the UK and the weekend chess congress competitions, his highs and his lows, the great people he met, and the famous ones too. A GREAT BOOK, A BOOK ANYONE CAN RELATE TOO!!
