Advancing on a tournament

I've received recently a message telling me I advanced to the next round of a gameknot's tournament(gameknot.com), and it'll start next week(Oct 13).

However, as per gameknot's FAQ, free members like me are allowed up to a maximum of 12 games(gameknot.com).

So, here's my concern: I'm currently playing 11 simultaneous games, and the next round should add more 6 ones, making it a total of 17. If I don't finish at least 5 games until the next round starts, will I be automatically removed/withdrawn from the tournament? Thanks in advance.

I believe you will get 17, and not be able to start any more until you are under 12 again.
That used to be the way it worked, though I'm not 100% certain now.
We will find out in 3~4 days
