It would take too long to mate, so 2. Qf7+ etc. is best.

The problem with this one , is confusion

"To gain maximum advantage in the shortest number of moves" , which is why i am happy to say i am not really a tactical type of player more into strategy , which is probably why i cannot get above 1650 !

Just keep plugging away, amacivn Look for forcing moves. I got over 1700 but dropped to 1620 because of carelessness.

1790 was a bit of a high point but...

when i looked at my settings , i decided i wasn't exactly challenging myself, they were in my favour !( only 50 plus+ the rest below !! ) so i've tried to balance it out a bit, i hover 1680 - 1730 , but you are right it's the stupid carelessness that annoys , just like in my game . lol
