What is wrong with Qe3 ? It follows the same queen trap.

Feel free to share the reason why 1.Qe6+ doesn't win.

I really dont see why Qe3 doesn't work, and why black can't play Ka4 avoiding loose the queen

Qf2+ leads to a mate if black responds with Ka5...

1. ... Qc6
2. Qf2+ Ka5
3. b4+ Ka4
4. Qc2+ Kxa3
5. Qb2+ Ka4
6. Qa2#

With Qe3+ you cannot achieve this as quickly... I'm not sure if you can at all.

Well spotted, forzaholland! 2.Qf2+ prevents 2...Ka5 due to the mate you gave while 2.Qe3+ keeps 2...Ka5 as a way out.

Thanks
