Alternate

It says White's alternate is -0.51, but 3.Qb7+ is mate in four. Mate in 7 is a better alternate than -0.51.

Ah,

From move 4 on in your line is the same as move 2 on in the solution. The computer doesn't really consider wasted moves in the solution.

On one either puzzle or tactic (I forget which at the moment) it gave an alternate solution like mine
