What am I missing....

Can't you force mate with sacking the Rook b3+, then the white is force to take with pawn.
Then take the white pawn on b3 with queen for a check. If white moves king to A1 or C1, the Knight moves to C3, and then its force from there.

Not quite playing it out
It gives white escape routes for eg.
3.Kc1 Nc3
4.Qc2
Once White gets to c2 any type of white takes to long ,
don't forget these tactics are all about the shortest route to victory or the strongest position !

@breakerofwind are you sure?
sorry to disagree with you my friend , but the whole point of me playing it out was to show that Black could not force the mate as quickly as the solution, with Rxb3+ , ive tried it and Black takes longer to get the mate ! , unless Ive missed something that has been known to happen once or twice or thrice !!!

Hi amacivn. You posted before I did, probably while I was thinking. I don't think the screen refreshes automatically. Anyway, I was agreeing with you
