![]() Then I thought Qe1 threatening Rh1# was even better because the queen would have to sacrifice itself with Qxf1 on move 2. (Or if g pawn moves Qf2#) But the problem with both of these solutions is that white can play b6 at the end, whereas in the Rh1+ solution white has to play something like Kh2 to prevent Qf4# and then black has the chance to play something takes b5. I forgot white was still allowed to play moves after losing the queen... Hope that explains things |
