perdurabo 08-Sep-11, 12:52 » Report abuse	Sorry, but you're making the same mistake I just made here: you are forgetting about the white pawn on e7. If 1...Rc4 then 2.e8Q+. Therefore 1...Re4 is clearly better, because if now white were to play 2.e8Q+ then black could just take with the rook (2...Rxe8) and the white rook on e3 can not recapture because it is still pinned against the king.
