Annotated by last_archimedean (1564): Confronted with what appeared to be a dangerous attack, I was able to successfully repulse it and settle the game. One of my favorite "quiet" openings. The first skirmish, and now I'm ready to castle. Development is just about finished, as we enter the middle game. Naturally I remove the B from the dangerous diagonal. Creating the first open file.
