Annotated chess game

Throwing pawns away like this, just gives Black extra ways of closing out the game. The situation is hopeless, sure, but there is no point is making it 'hopelesser'.

This allows Black to force a pawn promotion in three moves or win a rook, so was NOT a good idea!

Better was 39...Rc2ch with the idea that after 40.Rxc2 bxc2 the pawn would promote next move.
